Through summarizing the: organization work on the state key scientific andtechnological research item of the seventh ' Five-Year-Plan' -Model TestStudy and Prototype Observation of Sand Bed in Changhe Section, the Variable Reach of Back Water of the 'Three Gorges' Reservoir, the organization work on studying the new situation about port & waterway within Chongqing Section and planning & scientific research work of the riverside municipal facilities of Chongqing City after building the 'Three Gorges' project is explored and discussed.
