Seek a Way Out from Transforming the Teaching Pattern:On the Causes of and Remedies for the "Time Consuming and Inefficient" Problem

从客观和主观两个方面,以及微观、中观和宏观三个层次探讨了外语教学"费时低效"问题的原因和对策,指出了微观层次改革的局限性,强调了宏观层次改革的必要性,主张将三个层次的改革结合起来,构建新的教学模式,推动外语教学上一个新台阶。

Observing from objective and subjective aspects and microcosmic, medium and macroscopic levels, this paper explores some causes of and remedies for the 'time consuming and inefficient' phenomenon. It points out the limitation of microcosmic reform, emphasizes the necessity of macroscopic reform, and advocates the combination of three levels of reform to construct new teaching patterns, thus improving our foreign language teaching.
