摘要
提出的最佳级联方块编码是一种压缩二值图像数据的方法,它实质上是将前缀方块编码的原理逐次应用于二值图像金字塔表示的相继各级,寻求编码比特数的最小值,以便获得最大的数据压缩比。
In this paper an optimal cascade block coding scheme for binary image data compression is developed. Its principle is to recursively apply the prefix block coding technique to the sucessive levels of pyramid representation of binary image, and find the minimum number of coded bits, in order to obtain the maximum data compression ratio.
