贯彻采用国际标准是我国的基本国策,这既可以保证我国产品质量赶上国际先进水平,也是使我国经济与全球化接轨的需要。国际标准是一类比较独特的文献,其翻译不仅要求较丰富的专业知识,还需要较扎实的外语基础,本文对此提供了极其有益的启示,并以影像专业的若干国际标准进行说明。

Implementing International Standards is a basic policy of our country.This is very important to insure the quality of Chinese products to keep abreast with world advanced standard,and also to meet the requirements of the globalization of world economy.This paper offers very helpful advices for the correct translation of International Standards,a specific type of documents whose translation requires a higher level of technical knowledge and also a solid fundament of foreign language.Examples of some texts of imaging technology international standards are cited for explanation.
