摘要
用连续波CO2 激光束对 5 0 # 钢模切辊进行了激光表面淬火试验 ,研究了淬火层的显微组织及硬度分布。结果表明 ,5 0 # 钢模切辊经激光表面淬火后 ,硬化层组织由细小的位错马氏体及少量的残余奥氏体组成 ;模切辊变形很小 ,且表面硬度高 ,整体硬度分布较为均匀 ,能够达到技术要求。采用激光淬火技术对 5 0 #
The laser surface hardening for mould-cutting roller of 50 carbon steel is carried out using continuous wave CO 2 laser beam. The microstructure observation and hardness distribution testing in the cross-section of the hardened layer are performed. The results indicate that the microstructure of the hardened layer of mould-cutting roller quenched consists of the fine dislocated lath martensite and a small quantity of residual austenite. After laser surface hardening,the mould-cutting roller possesses of small contraction distortion,high hardness,and uniform distribution of hardness. And hence using laser surface hardening process to modify the surface of mould-cutting roller of 50 carbon steel is practicable.
