The heart the DLP projection display is the digital micromirror device (DMD), which is a device consists of fast digital light reflective switches array. Based on semiconductor manufacture technology,light source is controlled using binary pulsewidth modulation technique. The principle, operation, perfor-mance, and advantages of DLP-based projection systems were described in this paper.
