The Investigation and Consideration of the Functions of Central Bank' s Branch after System Reform

监管职能分离后,人民银行分支行顺应改革形势的变化,必须站在更高的层次上调整和定位职能。作为一个制度变迁过程,其主要的障碍一方面是路径依赖问题,另一方面是对新的环境和形势的适应问题。为此,要求分支行必须迅速转变思想观念和行为方式,同时还必须建立新的制度安排,重点是建立各种机制,理顺各种关系,创新工作方法。

After the separation of supervision function from the central bank, the branches of the People' s Bank of China should timely adjust their functions and positions in order to adapt themselves to the new situation. In the process of this institutional reform, one of the main obstacles is the problem of path depending on. On the other side, the PBC' s branches firstly have to change their conception and behavior method according to the reform situation, while to establish new institutional arrangement with the focus of new mechanism and the innovation of working method.
