英语将来时性条件句的可接受性分析

A Study on the Acceptability of Conditionals with Future Orientation

由于条件关系的复杂性以及将来时间表达的多样性 ,将来时性条件句比一般条件句要复杂得多。以往对条件句的讨论多从使用条件或分类角度展开 ,很少涉及将来时性条件句的可接受性分析。本文将在 Hornstein的 CDTS和RTC理论基础上 ,结合将来时间表达所蕴涵的语义、语用含义 ,综合分析可接受条件句的成立条件 ,并揭示不同将来表达式在条件句中的不同含义。

This paper aims at a comprehensive study both on the acceptability of conditionals with future orientation and on the differences in meaning between conditionals with different future referring constructions. Based on Hornstein's principles of CDTS and RTC, this study will be conducted from the semantic and pragmatic perspectives.
