摘要
本文从认知语境角度出发 ,即从社会历史背景和文学语篇的宏观结构 (剧情、悲剧英雄形象、人物性格、悲剧效果 )等方面分析著名悲剧《俄底普斯王》中主人公命运的不可逆转性 ,说明读者 /观众解读俄底普斯命运 ,首先必须建立各种期待和假设 ,然后根据这些期待和假设去理解或解读戏剧所表达的主题 ,并得出结论 :认知语境为我们理解话语或语篇提供了一条新的思路 。
The present paper, based on the theory of cognitive context, analyses the inevitability of the tragic fate of Oedipus in the famous tragedy Oedipus Rex in the light of social and historical background, and macro structure of the text including plot, image of tragic hero, weakness of character and tragic effect. It shows that readers' or audience's interpretation of the tragic fate is, in fact, a process of searching for various kinds of expectations and assumptions. Then, the author concludes that cognitive context provides a new way to interpret discourse or text, especially the literary text. The interpretation of the fate of Oedipus is indeed the construction of cognitive context.
