东阳民居将特定的自然审美取向、宗法血缘亲情、伦理品格教化、地方民俗特色等文化观念与有形的民居形态、空间布局、装饰手法紧密结合 ,赋予其自身深层的文化内涵 ,营造至亲、至善的家园精神。
Folk houses in Dongyang manifest the particular natural aesthetic orientation, consanguinity of patriarchal clan system, ethical and moral cultivation, folk custom, and other abstract cultural concepts, by virtue of the concrete configuration, spatial layout and ornamental techniques, thereby endowing themselves with deep cultural connotations and reflecting the perfect and most affectionate home spirit.
