Journal quality and editor's role ——An opinion about editor's role through Quality Criterion and Award Evaluation of Journal of Social Science of Colleges and Universities in China

学报是高校的学术理论刊物,它不同于通俗刊物,但是共同点都是追求高质量,质量是学报的生命。要保证学报的质量,学报编辑就必须严把政治质量关、学术质量关、编辑质量关和出版质量关,并且努力实现编辑手段现代化,信息畅通,使学报刊物紧跟时代,走向世界。

A journal is the academic and theoretical periodical of a college or university, different from common reading, but they all are in pursuit of high quality, for quality is the life of any journal. To ensure the quality of a journal, it is necessary for its editors to guarantee its political soundness, academic level, editing and publishing quality, and strive to modernize editing means for smooth passage of information so as to make it keep up with the times and go to the world.
