History includes history of thought, and the mainstay of thought is philosophy. Traditional Chinese scholarship has attached great importance to 'human-based history'. Now, it's time for historians to shift to 'reason-based history'. In traditional Chinese philosophy, there are epistemological investigations and ideas about 'truth'.
