A three-phase sine-wave signal generator is designed using digital synthesis method. The wave form is digitally synthesized using three weighting resistor networks and high-speed CMOS switches. The phase differences among the three sine-waves are kept precisely at 120°. The signal has excellent amplitude, frequency stability, small distortion and a wide frequency range up to 3.3 MHz.
