视频会议系统在LAN中的实现

开会总是需要先预定时间、地点,统一开会人员及会场布置、记录、主持等。会议所要解决的问题或是要制定的方案、决策都由于许多客观因素而耽搁。视频会议系统解决了以上的问题,免去会议开支,缩短了解决问题的周期,不受客观因素的影响。文中从视频会议系统的基本概念出发,介绍了视频会议系统的基本结构和一些关键技术。再以Microsoft公司的NetMeeting为模型,设计了各个功能模块,包括会员的管理、数据压缩、数据加密等,应用WinsockAPI以及数据库的相关技术,制作出一套类似于NetMeeting的软件,用于局域网(LAN)的视频会议系统。实践证明,该软件有较好的使用效果。

Holding a conference needs some complex procedures for a long time,such as pre-arranging the schedule,place,people,preparing the hall,recorder,master and so on.The goal of a meeting,resolving problems or making plans and decisions,will be delayed by such objective factors.As a result of that,the Video NetMeeting System is created to save money and time because of meetings and helps reducing the influence of objective factors.Beginning with the basic concept of Video NetMeeting system,introduces its basic structure and some major technologies.Take NetMeeting of Microsoft for example and designed every function module,including the management of members,data compression,data cryptography and so on.Using Windows API and some database techniques,developed a set of software like NetMeeting,developed a Video NetMeeting system on LAN.The practice shows that the system is effective.
