略论清末四川总商会的建立及其意义——兼与上海总商会作比较

On the Establishment and Meaning of Sichuan General Chamber of Commerce in Late Qin Dynasty

清末四川商会组织和社会之间是一种互动关系。由于近代四川开埠较晚和地缘等因素,商业经济不如上海等地兴盛发达,即使是同一时期成立的川沪两地总商会,在规模及其所起的作用等方面也存在着差异。

At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Sichuan chambers of commerce were interactive with the society. Because of the late port opening and its geology, the commercial economy was not so prosperous as it was in Shanghai. The general Chambers of Commerce in Sichuan and Shanghai, though formed at the same time, were different in scale and parts they played.
