History is composed of annotations. Each annotation is a lively picture of one of the historical periods. The significance and value of life lies in the annotations of history. People annotate history and vice history. What people annotate history means people create and understand history; and what history annotates people means the history memorizes and evaluates people. Each personal history of the individuals as the subjects of the historical activities is only one of the various annotations in history.
