党的“十六大”报告指出 ,我国要走一条新型工业化道路。贵州作为一个多民族省份 ,又是一个传统农业省 ,工农业基础薄弱 ,要改变经济落后的面貌 ,实现全面小康的宏伟目标 ,推进新型工业化势在必行 ,这是新的历史时期的重要任务。

The sixth National Congress of China'made a decision about 'Chinamust go a way of New Industrialization'. As a various national province and a traditional agricultural province, the development of industry and agriculture of Guizhou is meager, if we want to change this difficult situation and realize our aim of Xiaokang ,we must develop New Industrialization, it is a very important mission under the new history period.
