My View on Competence of Librarians at College Libraries in the Information Era

随着信息时代的到来 ,高校图书馆正向自动化、网络化、数字化方向发展。图书馆从业人员必须提高思想道德、业务技能和身体素质。为此 ,要突破传统的发展思路 ,加强学习和培训 ,更新知识 ,充实自己。

With the approaching of the information era,college libraries are developing toward automation,computerization and digitization. The level of competence of librarians with regard to their morality,professional skills and health should be improved. It is therefore necessary for them to break through the traditional ideas about development for a renewal of their knowledge through learning and training.
