始终保持党同人民群众的血肉联系,是我们党的优良作风,是马克思主义执政党的本质特征,也是我们党最根本的一条政治优势。党执政后,客观上增加了脱离群众的危险,因此,在新的历史条件下,要不断加强党同人民群众的血肉联系。

Maintaining close ties with the masses has always been a good tradition and comparative advantage of Communist Party of China and it is also an intrinsic characteristic of a Marxist political reigning party. When the CPC became a party in office it was possible that the party wouldget separated from the masses. Therefore under the new social conditions it is very important for CPC to strengthen the ties with the masses.
