Rebellion and Resumption On the Changes of the Thought in Western Aesthetics in the 20th Century

本文对二十世纪西方美学思想变迁做了简要的回顾,并把握其中一个重要的发展线索:由古典主义到现代主义再到后现代主义的变化是一个从反叛到回归的过程。本文试图从哲学发展的角度去透视西方美学思想变化的内在根源,对这三种思潮做简要的介绍和评述。

This paper briefly reviews the changes of the thought in Western aesthetics in the 20th century. An important clue to the development can be discerned : the changes from classicism to modernism then to post -modernism. It is a process from rebellion to resumption. The author makes brief comments on the three trends of thought and tries to locate the origins of the thought changes in Western aesthetics from a philosophical point of view.
