Developed by DuPont, “Uniplex” spun yarn technology is a new, single step process to convert filament yarns into spun yarns. It has a big potential for speed and application and is a technology, which is extremely flexible in terms of yarn count in particluar. Success will be determined by the addititional functionality of the yarn in the end-product.
