工程造价是随着商品经济的发展和现代管理科学的发展而产生和发展的。随着改革的不断深化和社会主义市场经济体制的建立,工程造价的管理显得愈来愈重要。文章从工程造价的合理确定与有效控制工程造价两个方面阐述了工程造价管理在项目施工中的重要作用。

The construction cost is developing along with the generation and development of modern managerial science. Along with the continuous deepening of the reform and the establishment of socialist market economy system, the management of construction cost is being moer and more important. From two aspects of the rational determination and effective control of the construction cost, this paper expounds the important functions of the management of the construction cost in the project construction.
