A survey of the progress PBT industry at abroad in 1990—1991 is described in this paper. The production capacity,consumption, consume structure, price, main manufactures and their extenstion are given. New blending and modifying technologies are introduced. The recent development and applications of new uninflamabel products, filled or reinforced composites, and alloys are described. The propositions ahead are discussed as well.
