介绍韶钢五轧厂1998(2000)年工艺、设备和生产能力状况,阐述了进行技术改造的必要性和"整体设计、两步实施"的技术改造原则,重点介绍五轧厂由二火成材横列式轧机改造为一火成材的半连续轧钢生产线的工艺设计,总结技术改造前后的生产实践效果.实践证明,技改达到预期目的:小规格螺纹钢生产适应市场灵活性强,产量高,成本低,投资省,见效快.

This paper briefly addresses the status of technology, equipment and production capacity of the No.5 Rolling Mill at SISG Co.in 1998(2000), elucidates the necessity of technological renovation, and describes the technological renovation principle of 'making an integral design, while implementing it in two phases'. The discussion meanwhile stresses the technological design which changes from the Belgian Mill with which a finished product is made via double heating, to a semi-continuous rolling line with only a single heating to produce the finished product, and summarizes the results of the renovation. It is shown by practice that the goal of the renovation has been attained, with a high productivity, a low cost, a high flexibility in adapting to market, and a quick economic gains obtained for small-sized ribbed bars.
