摘要
霞石主要生成于富含Na2O而贫SiO2的碱性火成岩及伟晶岩中,晶体呈六方短柱状、厚板状等粒状集合体或致密块状。Na2O、K2O含量为14%~20%,高于长石类。在陶瓷生产中用其取代部分长石,具有较强的熔剂效应,显著降低产品的烧成温度,降低生产成本,提高产品的质量,是实现产品低温快烧的优质原料。
Nepheline forms mainly in the alkaline igneous rocks and pegmatites, which contain more Na 2O and less SiO 2. Its texture is mainly shaped like hexagonal columniation, thick slate, granule or compact mass. The content of K 2O and Na 2O all together is about 14% ~ 20% , which is higher than that in feldspar. Owing to its strongly fluxing effect, the feldspar can be partly replaced by nepheline, which can lower the firing temperature, reduce production costs and improve the products quality. Using nepheline, a kind of high- quality raw materials, makes it possible to realize low- temperature fast firing.
