Image Compression Algorithm Based on Optimally Combining FractalWith Vector Quantization

介绍了对图像块的聚类分类方法和分形-VQ优化混合算法的实现原理和实现过程,设计了先横向后纵向优化的具体实现方案,并给出了算法描述,最后通过实验得到了很好的结果。

After classifying image blocks by virtue of cluster,this paper introduces the principle and process of a kind of image compression algorithm, which is based on combining fractal and vector quantization. And then a concrete implement scheme was designed according to an optimization rule. Finally the algorithm description is given. Experiments show that this algorithm can achieve rather good results.
