By using Baker Oil Tools HOOKTM Hanger system, one multilateral well named B17ST01ML was completed in Xijiang Oilfield. In this paper, technical considerations and challenges of multilateral drilling and completions experienced in B17ST01ML well program are introduced in detail , with reaction plans for the challenges revealed in drilling phase and completion phase. The actual multilateral drilling and completion practice will also be presented in this article. We demonstrate the multilateral drilling and completion application of B17ST01ML, with the intention to be beneficial for the domestic oil industry.
