中医发展路径思考

Thoughts of Development Path of Traditional Chinese Medicine

中医发展已出现空前良好的机遇,但中医现状并不乐观。中医发展路径应该立足于中医理念的基础上,保持中医的思维方式,积极主动地利用好现代科学技术,让现代科学技术为我所用,助我所长、补我所短,使中医保持自身特色、充分发挥自身优势,进而得到发展、拓新。作者认为:中医临床工作者在检查搜集各种病情资料和实施治疗、评定疗效、判断预后的环节上,可以利用好现有的科学技术手段,但在分析疾病和立法选药的环节上还难以利用现有的科学技术手段,因为中医“辨证审机定治”的思维方式还不具备现代科学要求的统一尺度和统一标准,这还有待于我们依据中医的思维模式,拓展思路,创新相应的科学技术,阐发中医理论的本质,促进中医发展。

Despite unprecedentedly enormous opportunities which have appeared in recent development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the current state of it is anything but optimistic. The path of such development should be based on the ideas of traditional Chinese medicine itself, in which the mode of thinking of TCM should be kept and modern science and technology be applied enthusiastically and actively, so as to make modern science and technology to serve TCM, helping enhance its merits and remedying its defects, maintaining its own characteristics and giving full scope to its own advantages. As the result TCM would further develop and innovate. The author of this article considers that clinicians in traditional Chinese medicine may make full use of the existing scientific means and methods available in their inspection and collection of data concerning all kinds of diseases, their practice of treatment, their assessment of curative effects and their determination of prognosis, but it is still difficult to use them in their analysis of diseases, their prescriptions and their selection of medicines. This is largely because the thinking mode' treatment based on syndrome differentiation and the development of disease' of traditional Chinese medicine does not possess such standards and measurements that are commonly required by modern science and technology. Therefore, personnel with modern science and technology are demanded to exploit and create corresponding science and technology in the light of TCM thinking mode so as to better explain the essence of TCM theories and promote the development of TCM.
