摘要
赈粥,作为救荒的措施之一,以其简易可行、成本不高、救治迅速、颇具实效性而被明代社会广泛采用。从施赈的对象、赈粥的方法、粥粮的来源、粥厂的管理等方面,可以了解明代粥厂制度的基本状况,因而可以对其实绩进行了恰如其分的估量。而粥厂制度自身存在的种种弊端,其实正折射出明代荒政乃至经济、吏治的实际情形。
Relief porridge was a common practice in the Ming Dynasty for its simple,cheap and effective qualities. An appropriate evaluation can be made through the observation of the people relieved, the way the relief porridge offered, the source of grain for the porridge and the management of the porridge factories. In fact,the porridge factories management reflected the reality of administration,economy and offical system in the Ming Dynasty.
