中国文化的起源与中国人的起源有着密切的关系,文化生成的过程是人类知识和经验积累的过程,人类的早期的活动都是围绕动物和植物而进行的,并且是建立在对动物和植物逐步认识的基础之上的,这是人类知识和经验的发端,是文化的源头。原始宗教观念也与此有关,它是原始人对人类知识和经验的发展,是用已知的知识推演未知的知识而已,宗教产生经过了对动物的崇拜、对半神半人的崇拜、对人的崇拜,然后再到全知全能的灵的崇拜的漫长过程,灵的崇拜是原始宗教观念的质的飞跃,它是现代文化的源头。
