Climate and sea level changes during Holocene high temperature period along Fujian coast

摘要 本文综合分析了福建沿海全新世高温期的孢粉资料和海平面变化资料,建立了气温和海平面变化曲线.结果表明,8ka,B.P.前为气温和海平面上升期,8ka,B.P.以来为高温期和高海平面期,海平面升降与气温升降几乎同步. The Holocene changes in climate and sea level in the Fujian coast have been well reconstructed by the analyses of sporo-pollen and sea level indicators in the Holocene coastal strata. The early Holocene, before 8ka, B. P., is a temperature and sea level rising period. The climate changes from cool to warm, sea level from -20m or more to nearly its present position. Since 8ka, B. P., a high temperature period has appeared, the climate has been hot and humid,and sea level has entered into a high-stand stage. During the period between 7.0ka and 5.7ka, B. P., sea level reached the elevation higher than its present level. During the period between 5ka and 4ka, B. P., as the climate became cool, the temperature was lower than that at present. In the meantime, sea level had also falled to the elevation lower than it present level. Since 4ka, B. P., both the temperature and sea level have been fluctuating slightly. The climate has evoluted from warm and a little dry between 4ka and 2.5ka,B. P.,warm and somewhat moist between 2.5ka and 1.5ka,B. P.,to warm and humid between 1.5ka and 0.7ka,B. P.. Since 0.7ka,B. P., climate has been nearly the same as the present and tended to become drier. The fluctuations in sea level are in correspondence with the changes in temperature. High temperature stage was associated with the high sea level period. During the low temperature period sea level was also in the low-stand stage. Since the Holocene high temperature period, temperature has varied from about +3℃ to -2℃, sea level has been changing from +3m to -2m. The well corresponding relationship has existed between sea level change and climate evolution for ten-thousand-year, thousand-year,and even hundred-year scales,on lag effect has been found.
