摘要
新疆把旅游业发展作为新兴支柱产业之一,采用新的手段进行旅游信息的管理是很有必要的。本文从地理信息系统(GIS)的组成与功能出发,探讨了GIS在旅游管理和开发中的应用前景和建立旅游管理信息系统的必要性,并以乌鲁木齐为例,进行了探索。
In order to develop tourism as one of the new backbone industries of Xinjiang,it is essential to use new method in the management of tourism information. Geography Information System (GIS) is used widely in many fields because of its function of database management and spatial analysis. This paper discusses the application of GIS in tourism management and development,and analyzes with the sample of Urumqi.
