By elaborating and analyzing the scan trace types of t he Optical fiber , This paper introduces the methods of Optical fiber cable-line's judging and lo cating along with the main points of operating OTDR instrument. In order to impr ove the abilities of judging and fixing a line's breakdown by using OTDR ( optic al time domain refection instrument) , it also introduces some using and locatin g techniques.
