On Improving the Quality of Academic Administration

教学是学校工作的中心 ,以抓教学为己任的教务工作则是学校工作的“中心的中心”,教务处是教务工作的实体 ,教务工作的优劣成败从根本上决定着学校的教育质量和学生的身心发展水平。要使教务工作程序化 ,提高教务管理质量 ,可以从四个方面入手 :(1)加强教学常规管理工作 ,确保稳定的教学秩序和良好的教学状态 ;(2 )加强教风和学风建设 ;(3)强化教学过程管理 ,实现教学质量的有效监控 ;(4)加强师资队伍建设 ,提升教师的专业理论水平、教学水平和学术水平。

Teaching plays a central role in educational institutions. The teaching-centered academic administration is the most important, which is closely associated with the educational quality of the school and the level of the development of students. This article describes in detail the four ways in which academic administration is systemized in order to improve its quality, namely, (1) to strengthen conventional teaching administration to keep steady teaching order, (2) to enhance the cultivation of teaching and learning atmosphere, (3) to reinforce the administration of teaching process to effectively monitor the quality of teaching and learning, and (4) to build up the teaching staff to improve their specialized knowledge, teaching and academic levels.
