This paper introduces cost analysis subsystem of the production management system in Steel-making Plant of Baotou Steel (Group) Corporation and its development environment and models, the structure of database, design theory of the system and so on through analyzing the capability of the cost analysis subsystem and giving details of data flow. It also introduces the characters of development and application of Oracle Develop database.
