Legal Issues on Asian Regional Human Rights Protection Mechanisms

作为国际人权保护机制的补充,区域性人权保护机制的发展经历了众多年头,也取得相当的成绩。其中,与欧洲、美洲及非洲相比,亚洲区域人权保护机制的发展实际上步履蹒跚,但值得欣慰的是亚洲次区域人权保护机制的发展却较为迅速。本文通过对亚洲区域及次区域人权保护机制现状及发展前景的思考,力图探索亚洲区域人权保护机制的发展与完善之路。

As a supplement to the international human rights protection mechanisms, regional human rights protection mechanisms have experienced many years’ development and made considerable achievements. Compared with Europe, America and Africa, the development of Asian regional human rights protection mechanisms is actually faltering. Fortunately, the development of the Asian sub-regional human rights protection mechanisms has made some progress. Based on the reflections on the status and development prospects of the Asian regional and Asian sub-regional human rights protection mechanisms, this article tries to explore the roads for developing and improving the Asian regional human rights protection mechanisms.
