信息科技类中英文期刊英文摘要中介入资源的对比研究

A Comparative Study on Engagement Resources in English Abstracts of Chinese and English IT Journals

评价理论中的介入系统是学术语篇中构建人际意义的重要手段,为了调查英语本族语学者和中国学者在介入资源的使用上有何差异,选取信息科技类中英文期刊的英文摘要作为研究语料,对比分析了其中介入资源的使用规律。总体来看,本族语学者比中国学者使用了更为丰富的介入资源,尤其是包容资源;而中国学者对宣言资源中认同手段的使用要多于本族语学者。同时,研究结果还表明,大多数介入手段的使用能够体现出摘要不同语步所承担的主要功能,具有较为鲜明的语步特点。

Intervention system,a subsystem of the appraisal system,constitutes an important means of constructing interpersonal meaning in academic texts.This paper aims to investigate the differences between native English scholars and Chinese scholars in the use of interventional resources.Thus,the author selected English abstracts of Chinese and English from journals of information science and technology as the research corpus with comparison and analysis of the rules of the use of interventional resources.The results show that native scholars of English used more engagement resources than their Chinese counterparts,especially inclusive resources,however,more endorse markers appeared in the abstracts from Chinese journals.What’s more,the findings also indicate that the functions of different moves in the abstract have a direct bearing on the employment of engagement resources.
