英汉学术论文中的言据性对比研究

A contrastive study on evidentiality of academic research articles in English and Chinese

文章分别从应用语言学领域核心期刊Journal of Pragmatics和《外语教学与研究》中各随机选取10篇学术论文作为语料建立相应的小型语料库,对其进行言据性对比研究,提出了基于实证性研究的5种言据性据素范畴,并基于该范畴类型进行示例化的对比统计分析。文章发现,英语学术论文中言据性据素的使用频率要大于汉语,在各据素的具体分布上同样存在显著性差异。

This paper adopts stratified random sampling to select 10 academic research articles in English and Chinese respectively,from core journals in applied linguistics,named Journal of Pragmatics in English and Foreign Language Teaching and Research in Chinese.Based on the corpus,a contrastive study,along with illustration is carried out and 5 kinds of evidentials to be put forward.This study finds out that the frequency of evidentials used in English academic research articles are higher than those in Chinese,and the distribution of evidentials also differs in English and Chinese academic research articles.
