分析了英语词汇教学的特点及目前面临的困难,并提出了不能孤立地进行英语词汇教学,并将其教学与语言教学、文化教学等有效地结合起来。英语词汇教学是整个英语教学的基础,因此,要掌握其规律,进行创新性教学。

English vocabulary teaching is the base of English teaching,so the rules should be followed and some innovative methods should be taken to improve language teaching.This paper analyzes the characteristics and the current difficulties of English vocabulary teaching.It also puts forward a proposal that English vocabulary teaching should be combined with the teaching of language and culture.
