The technology for the preparation of ammonium perchlorate using NaClO_(4)or HClO_(4 )as raw material was discussed.The Olin Corp.^(,)s novel technology was introduced.The high purity ammonium perchlorate was prepared by reacting high purity HClO_(4)with high purity ammonia by spray method.The high purity HClO_(4)was obtained by two steps electrolysis using high purity HClO as raw material.Compared with the conventional methods,the new technology possesses advantages of high purity,fewer purification steps and lower costs.
