"塔哇"是藏族的一种村落形式,它是对寺院周围村庄的特称。既然是特称,就有它的特殊性。这种特殊性既表现在它的含义上,也表现在它的形成上。"塔哇"的产生有着悠久的历史,研究它的产生、发展、演变的历史,有着极其重要的学术意义和现实意义。

Being one form of Tibetan villages, Tawa refers to villages around a temple. It has its own characteristics, which embody in both its connotation and form. It has a long history. It is of great academic and realistic importance to research its formation, development and changes.
