湖北荆州高台古井群2012年考古发掘简报

A Brief Report on the Excavation in 2012 of Gaotai Ancient Wells in Jingzhou

2012年4月,为配合南水北调中线引江济汉工程建设,做好渠道内的文物保护工作,受湖北省文物局南水北调办公室委托,荆州博物馆组成考古队,对高台古井群进行了抢救性考古发掘工作,发掘清理古井88座。古井按结构可分为竹圈井、陶圈井、木制井,时代为战国中早期,兴盛于战国中期或偏晚一些,沿用至秦汉。此次发掘出土一批重要考古资料。

In order to protect the cultural relics for south-to-north water diversion project,Jingzhou museum organized a archaeological team as request of the department of cultural relics of Hubei province.And discovered eighty-eight ancient wells in Gaotai of Jingzhou,April in 2012.According to the structures of the ancient wells,there are three species well:bamboo,pottery and wood.The period of the ancient wells is during the early and middle of the Warring states.In the middle and late of the Warring states,the ancient wells were prosperous period,and continued until the Qin and Han dynasties.This excavation acquired lots of dates of archaeology.
