秦汉刑徒墓定名商榷

Discussions Over the Naming of the Tombs of the Prisoners in Qin and Han Dynasties

目前被考古学者定名为秦汉刑徒墓的墓地有3处,其中西安2处,洛阳1处。笔者认为这种定名值得商榷,应该称为修陵人墓地或者劳役者墓地。

Up to now, there are three sites of tombs named by archaeologists as those for the prisoners in Qin and Han dynasties, including two in Xi ’an and one in Luoyang. The author thinks that this naming is questionable and should be referred to as the Tombs of the Tomb Builders or the Grave of the Laborers.
