On the Influence of Arabic Literature upon Western Literature

阿拉伯人的原创文学主要是诗歌,尤其是阿拉伯抒情诗曾经对欧洲产生过巨大影响。这主要表现为两个方面:其一是对欧洲骑士文学的影响;其二是对欧洲十四行诗的影响。可是,这种影响问题至今仍有很大的争议,产生争议的根本原因在于西方学术界存在着一种故意将阿拉伯人"侏儒化"的倾向。

The original Arabic literature is mainly poetry,and especially,expressive Arabic poems had greatly influenced Europe.This very influence is in two aspects:the first is the influence upon European knight literature;the second is the influence upon European sonnets.However,this very influence is still quite controversial,and the controversy fundamentally lies in the hostility of western academic circle and they tend to dwarf Arabians.
