《大地的阶梯》是阿来在游走西藏的旅途中所见、所闻、所感。阿来扮演着观光者、摄画师、写作家,甚至是导游等多重角色。阿来以归来人的独特视角旨在追溯家园写作的历史根源、现实原因以及其未来憧憬。纵观《大地的阶梯》,我们可以看到阿来作为藏族子民对脚下这片故土的诚挚热爱以及厚重责任,他以一种焦虑与担当的心态来正视家园面临瓦解的现实,用自己的文字去绘制美好的家园蓝图,去感召同族人乃至外族人一齐实现这幅蓝图,重建关乎爱的精神家园。

Ladder of the Earth is about what Alei has seen,heard and felt during his trip in Tibet.Alei has played roles of sightseer,cameraman,painter,writer,even a guide.As one back from his trip,Alei used this unique perspective to date back to historical source,reality reasons and future prospect of homeland writing.All through Ladder of the Earth,we can see Alei's sincere love and holly responsibility for this very land as a Tibetan son.With anxiety and responsibility,Alei faces up to the disintegrating reality,uses his word to paint beautiful blueprint of the homeland so as to call on Tibetans and other nationalities to realize this very blue print and rebuild spiritual homeland of love.
