层层自组装法制备织物表面耐久超疏水涂层与性能 被引量:11

Fabrication of durable superhydrophobic coating on fabric surface by layer-by-layer self-assembly method and its performance

摘要 以3-缩水甘油醚氧丙基三甲氧基硅烷(KH560)、聚羧基/甲基倍半硅氧烷纳米球(PCMSQ NPs)乳液和交联型氨基硅乳(JASO)为构筑基元,以棉织物为成膜基质,以化学键为驱动力,通过改进的层层自组装(LBL)技术制得了一种耐久性超疏水涂层.研究了各基元用量对处理后棉织物表面的超疏水性能的影响.然后通过XPS和FESEM对织物表面超疏水涂层的化学组成和微观形貌进行测定.结果表明,制得的超疏水涂层具有预期的化学结构;当KH560质量分数为0.7%,PCMSQ NPs乳液和JASO乳液固含量均为1%时,处理后的棉织物表面的超疏水性最佳,水静态接触角(WCA)达156.5°;该涂层经皂洗25次后,WCA仍达141.2°,具有强的疏水性能,这应该是棉织物与超疏水涂层形成了强的化学键进而提高了涂层的耐久性能.FESEM表明,PCMSQ NPs较均匀地吸附在棉纤维表面,与棉纤维本身的微米级结构形成了微/纳米双尺度粗糙结构,为构筑超疏水织物提供了有利条件. A durable superhydrophobic coating was fabricated via LBL self-assembly technology with 3-glycidyl oxypropyl trimethoxysilane(KH560),polycarboxyl/methylsilsesquioxane nanospheres(PCMSQ NPs)latex and crosslinked aminopolysiloxane(JASO)latex as building units,cotton fabrics as film-forming substrates and chemical bonds as driving forces.Effect of doses of different building units was investigated on superhydrophobic properties of the fabric surface.Chemical composition and micro-morphology of the superhydrophobic coating were determined by XPS and FESEM.Results show that the as-prepared superhydrophobic coating had an expected structure.Superhydrophobicity of the treated fabric was the best with static water contact angles(WCA)of 156.5°while the mass fraction of KH560,the solid contents of PCMSQ NPs and JASO latexes were 0.7%,1%,and 1%,respectively.WCA could still reach 141.2°after 25 soaping cycles and those strong hydrophobicity should result from formation of chemical bonds between cotton fabric and superhydrophobic coating and then enhanced durability of the coating.FESEM results indicate that PCMSQ NPs were evenly adsorbed on the cotton fabric surface and created a micro/nano dual scaled roughness in combination with micro-scaled roughness of cotton fibers itself,which finally provide favorable conditions for construction of the superhydrophobic fabric.
