中国数据新闻实践的前沿——基于中国首届数据新闻大赛作品的实证研究

An Exploration on the Development of Data Journalism Application in China——An Empirical Study of the Compositions of the First Data Journalism Competition in China

"数据新闻"作为新闻业务的延伸方向正在全方位扩散。以大数据时代为背景,从关注领域、数据质量、版面设计、技术运用、表现形式五个方面对首届中国数据新闻大赛的85份作品进行统计分析,运用比较分析的方法探讨学界、业界在数据新闻的实践探索过程中的差异以及共同遇到的瓶颈。在研究发现首届中国数据新闻作品不足之处的同时,分析并解释原因,从而获得借鉴经验,以提高我国数据新闻可视化报道的水平和影响力。

'Data journalism'is spreading comprehensively as an extension direction of news activities.This study selects 85 compositions of the First Data Journalism Competition in China as research subjects.The focus of this study is to analyze the focus field,data quality,page layout,technology application,pattern of manifestation,and audience attention in the competition.Using comparative analysis method,this paper discusses differences between academia and industry in the press during the practice,and finds the common bottleneck they encountered.In addition,this paper intends to explain the reasons of shortcomings in the compositions in order to improve the level and the influence of data visualization in news coverage.
