茨威格和卡夫卡虽同属西方犹太人 ,但是他们身上的犹太人意识、家庭生活环境对他们的影响、爱好与职业的关系等却迥然不同 ,因而在他们的创作中对犹太民族命运和犹太问题的思考完全不同 ;对现实的描写、人物的塑造、人物心理的刻画各异其趣 ;且茨威格的一生爱好与职业是融为一体、有机统一的 ,而卡夫卡的一生爱好与职业却是矛盾冲突的。这些都给他们的创作以深刻的影响。

Although both Stefan Zweig and Franz Kafka belong to West Jew,their Jewish sense,the influence of family,hobby and career are completely different.Therefore, their thoughts about the destiny and problems of Jewish nationality are completely different.They differ from each other on the description of reality,image of characters,psychology of characters. Stefan Zweig combined his hobby with his career,while Kafka's hobby contradicted his career.All these influenced their writing deeply.
