摘要
坎儿井作为维吾尔族人民古老的灌溉系统,具有悠久的历史。其来历有不同看法。本文通过对kariz一词的词源分析,说明坎儿井是由当地人民根据自然地理条件自己发明的。
Kareez is a kind of ancient irrigation system of the Uyghur people with a long history. There are three different opinions concerning its origin: 1. It is the result of spread of the Kareez technique invented 2500 years ago by Sogdians over the Turpan basin. 2. It is the result of spread of the well model of Han Dynasty invented 2000 years ago over the Turpan basin. 3. It is the invention of the local people invented according to their natural and geographical conditions. By analyzing the etymology of the word Kariz, this article proves and confirms that only the third opinion is reliable.
