鄂西南水松与池杉引种试验初报

A Preliminary Study of Introduction of Glyptostrobus pensilis and Taxodium ascendens in Southwest Hubei Province

在鄂西南进行水松和池杉引种试验的结果表明 ,34年生水松平均树高 2 0 8m ,平均胸径 2 2 2cm ;池杉平均树高 1 4 6m ,平均胸径 2 1 9cm。水松的树高、胸径和冠幅等生长指标高于池杉 ,其抗性强 ,是优良的用材树种和优美的观赏树种 。

To widen distributed area, Glyptostrobus pensilis and Taxodium ascendens were introduced into southwest Hubei Province from Lushan and Wuhan in 1965.The results of cultivation for thirty four years suggested that these trees had made good growth,with tree height of 20 8?m,D 1 3 of 22 2?cm of Glyptostrobus pensilis and tree height of 14 6?m,D 1 3 of 21 9?cm of Taxodium ascendens .The mean sizes of tree height,D 1 3 and crown width of Glyptostrobus pensilis were larger than that of Taxodium ascendens. The two species had stronger resistance to plant diseases and insect pests.For two fine species of timber and ornamental trees,it is a proposition to application.
